Defend with endurance - response with silence - respect another with your humility - lift another with your sacrifice - mend the broken hearts with the tools of your virtues - be attractive in your character - confident and secure in good morals - and worship, always, the ideal of goodness with the flowers of compassion, the flame of truth, the garland of oneness, the offering of faith, the holy water of purity, the prasaad of peace and the incense of fragrant love. Expand the constricted heart that has simply raised the wall of stone between you and all else. Let the key of discrimination free you to the world of detachment. Know, My child, that the several voices that have confused you to live the life of duality, is, in reality, only one - the voice of the mind. The mind, My dears, tricks you into playing several roles - know that under its numerous masks, lies the face of gloom and disaster - its tempting voice is the trap of your suffocation - its advice is the end of your intelligence - its support is the beginning of your defeat - your fear of it, is its assurance of longevity - your obedience to its commands, strengthens its rule - Yes! The rule of that king that makes his own self wealthier by looting his own subjects - bribing them with his illusionary dreams - letting the reign of his terror become the fearful grip - the gripping control of pitiful and hopeless vices!
