"I am a Western scientist with a rapturous spiritual-Druidic relationship with Nature. It is the reductionist methodology (which I find heartbreaking) of science and not necessarily scientists, creating divisions. We "Westerners" have indigenous roots too. I believe that by collectively reclaiming our roots and acknowledging the events and history in between, we are empowered to stand together in the face of Ecocide." —Shri Nageshvari Verrill in response to a recent post on Spiritual Ecology regarding the intersection of science and indigenous knowledge.
